| Sintered Silica Fabrics (96% Sio2) Sintered (pre-shrunk) siilica fabircs are are used in industrial and aerospace applications that require minimum shrinkage at high temperatures. The areal shrinkage can be as low as 1% at 1000°C. Potential applications include: backing for quartz heaters, tray liners for thermal processing of parts, manufacturing of aerospace insulation parts, and mold release in metal forging. |
