Silicone Coated V4A Wire Reinforced Fiberglass Fabric is a flexible industrial composite with high strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. Its core advantages lie in the superior structural performance and corrosion resistance provided by 316L (V4A) stainless steel wire, combined with the fireproof, waterproof and weather-resistant properties of the silicone coating. It is the preferred flexible protection and connection material for harsh working conditions such as high temperature, corrosion and vibration.


Properties:
Mechanical Strength: V4A steel wire significantly improves tensile, tear and puncture resistance as well as structural stability, withstanding repeated bending and vibration.
Temperature Resistance: Continuous service from -50°C to 260°C; short-term high temperature resistance up to 550°C (against welding sparks).
Corrosion Resistance: Dual protection of 316L steel wire and silicone coating, resistant to acids, alkalis, salt spray, oil, water and ozone, ensuring long service life in outdoor or chemical environments.
Fire Safety: Flame retardant, low smoke, non-toxic and self-extinguishing when removed from fire.
Physical Properties: Good flexibility, excellent air tightness, waterproof, wear-resistant and electrically insulating.


Major Industrial Applications:
Flexible High-Temperature Expansion Joints / Compensators: Flexible connections for flues, hot air ducts and desulfurization systems, absorbing thermal displacement and vibration.
Welding Protection: Welding blankets, fire curtains and flame curtains, preventing welding slag and high-temperature splashes.
Removable Insulation Jackets: Insulation covers for valves, flanges and engines, waterproof, oil-resistant and corrosion-resistant.
Shipbuilding / Offshore: Marine fire curtains, engine room insulation and offshore equipment protection (salt spray resistant).
Chemical Anti-Corrosion: Corrosion-resistant gaskets, anti-corrosion wrapping and chemical pipeline protection.
Fire Stopping / Smoke Containment: Building fire compartmentation and smoke baffles.
Electrical Insulation: Insulation protection for high-temperature cables, busbars and electrical equipment.


Differences from Ordinary Silicone Fabric:

Ordinary Silicone Fabric: Moderate strength, easy to tear, suitable for low to medium load and static applications.
V4A Wire Reinforced Type: High strength, high tear resistance, stable structure, vibration and corrosion resistant, ideal for heavy-duty, dynamic, corrosive and high-temperature harsh environments.

Coating Methods: Single or double-sided coating, liquid or calendered silicone.
Reinforcement: Some stainless steel wire reinforced fabrics available for improved strength.
Coating weight: Highly customizable.
Custom cutting: Minimum width around 10 cm.
Custom printing: Your logo, product codes and other markings can be printed on request.
Antistatic coating: Available in black and grey color, for now. 
Ceramicized coating: Available as requested
